We perceive the arrival of the problems as a reason to stop doing what we do. We see it as a sign to stop doing what we are doing. The pain is able to stop us in space. Shame – to make us freeze. Refusal discourages us. Disappointment makes us give up the game and check the rules again. But perhaps in this way we do not make good stuff for ourselves.
Problems often do not consist in the fact that our troubles and our suffering forbid us to continue to move forward. The problem is that we choose to keep our problems, analyze them and expose ourselves to pain. However, the analysis will not help us. Sometimes it is just an excuse to stay stuck in the center of the problem, because it is easier to look at and to divide into smaller parts than to face them and move forward.
But the pain, it can be terrible. Shame will make us hide from the world. The rejection will force us to close within yourself and ask why we are not good enough. When we are in pain, all you want to do is to stop the world while we collect time and energy to catch up to it.
This is the cruellest fact about life. The world does not stop spinning. And if we want to create our service, then we should not stop moving. The truth is that 9 out of 10 times you make a mistake and will not have luck. You’ll fall in love with the wrong person. We will apply for a job that we don’t want. Because that’s life and stars are not always arranged in the same line.
The solution to the problem is to get up and try to prove that you’re good enough. To return to the game. To see life as a series of average situations, rather than a series of individual, specific successes and lost chances and realize that despite these 9 times when you make a mistake, at least once you will succeed. And that again is something most valuable in the world. When you let failures defeat you, you never realize that value.
Let failures only be situations, than identities you adopt. Situations where only you go through them. Shame? Continue forward. Pain? Continue forward. Rejection? Continue forward. There will be good days and green valleys and peaks along the way. And every rock that would get in the way of your shoes will disappear. Do not hold in the mud, thinking how to remove it. Get out of it and move on.
